Fun for everyone at the UN Beach this summer
No need to miss out on the beach while you’re in Geneva. Come enjoy our sun loungers, paddleboards, bar and more
1 Jul 2023

UN Beach was originally created in 1947 and is open once again for the summer season. Far from Geneva’s crowded beaches, it offers a safe environment for you and your family, and plenty of fun.

You will find a beautiful open restaurant on a gorgeous terrace to enjoy lunch or dinner by the marina, featuring regional foods and themed gourmet evenings. While we mostly expect beautiful sunny days, rainy ones can still be a perfect cozy setting for indoor gourmet dining at the UN Beach.

You’ll get most out of the UN Beach on weekday afternoons and weekends. There’s plenty of colorful sun loungers to work on your tan while sipping a cocktail, a beach bar where to enjoy snacks and catch up with friends, a rooftop terrace, barbecues for a family get-together, and a picnic area.

Jump in the lake from our floating pontoon or explore the waters on a paddle board, kayak, or pedalo – the kids will definitely be kept entertained at the brand new ‘family fun zone’ featuring a kids pool and playground with ample space to run around.

The restaurant is open from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. serving hot and cold dishes. During these hours, the beach bar provides a constant flow of refreshments, drinks and snacks. There is limited parking so we suggest coming by bike or on foot. The nearest bus stop is Jardin Botanique (in front of WTO) and the nearest parking garage is next to the Sécheron Train Station.

The UN Beach is dedicated exclusively to staff of international organizations, diplomatic missions, accredited media and NGOs. For more information and to sign up for a season pass for you and your family members, please visit unport.org
