Fun for all the family at UN Beach this summer
Forget complicated international travel. Come enjoy our sunloungers, paddleboards, bar and more
1 Jun 2021

UN Beach, originally created in 1947, is open once again for the summer season. Far from Geneva’s crowded beaches it offers a safe environment for you and your family, and plenty of fun.

It features a beautiful open restaurant by the marina to enjoy lunch or dinner, plenty of colourful sunloungers to work on your tan while sipping a cocktail, a beach bar at which to enjoy snacks and catch up with friends, a rooftop terrace, barbecues for your family get-togethers, a picnic area, pedalos to go on the lake, a pool for your young kids.

The jumping-in-the-lake experience has also got better with a new floating pontoon. No more queuing at the stairs to go into the lake and paddle boards are easily up for grabs by our seasonal subscribers – not to mention a new toboggan for the kids. We have also improved the marina with a fully-renovated port that provides a much better experience for our port users, making it safer to access boats and walk around the marina during sunset.

The restaurant is open from 12-2.30 p.m. and 6.45-9.45 p.m. serving hot and cold dishes. During and in between, the beach bar keeps a constant flow of refreshments, drinks and snacks. There is limited parking, so users are advised to try to come by bike or foot. The nearest bus stop is Jardin Botanique (in front of WTO) and the nearest parking garage is at the Sécheron train station.

UN Beach is exclusively for staff of international organizations, diplomatic missions, accredited media and international NGOs. For more information and to get a seasonal subscription for you and your family members, please visit www.unport.org.

Please note that UN Port is committed to ensuring safety of its users and Covid-19 rules are strictly followed. Here are some photos from last summer.
