All these questions have the same answer: the UNECE. 

Founded in 1947, the UNECE is one of the five regional economic commissions of the United Nations. Its main objective is to promote economic integration and cooperation among its 56 members, facilitate the negotiation of international legal instruments, monitor the adoption of regulations and standards, and share best practices in the economic field.

In this issue of the magazine, UNECE Executive Secretary Tatiana Molcean presents the Commission’s priorities. You can also learn about the structure of the Commission, information on the activities carried out by each of its six main Divisions, and the impact that these activities have on our daily lives.
